Rick Pelc, the Service Director of Rome Volkswagen, with more than thirty years of car service experience, accepted the award on behalf of Rome Volkswagen. Terry King, the service advisor of Rome Volkswagen said “it is great that we won this award because there are 151 dealers in our region”. Service is an art that Rome Volkswagen prides itself on. Rick stated “We can only grow as a dealership by keeping our customers happy”. When Rick was asked about what it took to win this award he said “We really were not trying to win some award, Terry and I really just try to listen to the customer and translate the problem to our techs so that the customer has as little of an interruption in their life as possible”. In addition to winning this award, Rome Volkswagen is the only dealership in the region where the entire service department is certified. Jim Furney said “I can’t really express how proud I am of Rick for developing our service department to where we are the only ones in 151 stores to be 100% certified: from our parts manager, to our techs and service advisors.” Rome Volkswagen has a lot to be proud of when it comes to our service department. When Rick was receiving the “FIX IT RIGHT AWARD” he stated to the audience that “I can’t take the credit for this by myself, our certified techs are a tight group of guys who work hard at school and together to make sure our customers are taken care of properly the first time.” |
