I wanted to take a moment and compliment your service staff, specifically the gentlemen who initially took my call and Sylvia in service.
On Wednesday April 10th, I called Rome VW explaining that none of the controls on my driver’s side door would work and I was unable to even use the gas release with only ¼ tank of gas left in the tank. Unfortunately, I did not catch the gentlemen’s name who took my call but he was very kind and quick to respond to my situation. He stated that he couldn’t have me driving around that way and was able to get me in at 1:30 that same afternoon.
Upon bringing my car in and until I picked it back up, Sylvia handled me with care. She offered my son and me a place to sit in the waiting room while the technicians checked my car. Within 10 minutes of waiting, Sylvia made me aware that there was 2 open recalls on my car that I was completely unaware of. She explained to me that Volkswagen would make those repairs free of charge due to the recall. I thanked her and asked them to go ahead with the repairs.
A few minutes later, Sylvia came back out to let me know the time needed to work on my car would be longer than an hour and explained to me that they offer a free shuttle service that could take us back to our house – we accepted the offer. The driver of the car was very kind and made my son and I feel comfortable. Shortly after we arrived home, Sylvia called me to make me aware of what was wrong with my car along with how much it would cost and why. I asked them to go ahead and make the repairs. Sylvia called a while later to let me know the car was fixed and asked if I would need the shuttle to pick me up; I declined as I had a friend give me ride instead.
When I came in to pick up the car and pay the bill, Sylvia explained everything the technicians did to my car. To be honest, I have always avoided going to a dealership because it usually costs more or “something else” is always wrong with the car, ect but after going to Rome VW, it would be the first place I would think to bring my car the next time it is in need of repair and/or maintenance. I have already recommended you to all of my friends. Thank you and your staff for making my experience a pleasant one.
